Pre-sale preparation

Ready for photos. Ready for inspection.

A clean, well-presented vehicle is easier for buyers to assess. GarageWash prepares the interior and exterior for listing photos and inspections — work agreed around the car’s condition and your timing. No promise of a higher sale price or a faster sale.

The base scope

Pre-Sale Detail builds on the Signature Full Detail scope — interior and exterior care with a protective finish — plus a final presentation check. Headlights and engine bays are not automatic inclusions; they are added only if assessed and agreed.

  • Exterior wash, decontamination and finishing protection
  • Wheels, tyres, jambs and glass detailed
  • Deep interior and boot vacuum
  • Seats, carpets and upholstery shampoo where suitable
  • Steam treatment and interior deodorising
  • Dashboard, console, vents and trims detailed
  • Leather cleaned and conditioned where applicable
  • Interior plastics conditioned and glass cleaned
No repair or deep scratch removal No promise of a higher sale price

Optional assessed polishing

A single-stage gloss enhancement can be included only where the allocated provider and a paint assessment support it. If the paint is not suitable, polishing stays as separately assessed work — it is never assumed or added without agreement. This is cosmetic preparation, not paint repair.

  • A suitable protective finish
  • Assessed gloss enhancement where paint allows

Defects needing a specialist

  • Deep scratches and paint damage
  • Worn or torn upholstery

Finish
  • Remove personal belongings and valuables.
  • Organise documents and logbooks separately.
  • Clear the boot so it photographs well.
  • Allow drying time before taking photos.
  • Tell us your preferred photography or inspection date.
  • Add photos of any areas you want assessed.

Preferred dates are requests, not reservations. Listing photography is not automatically included unless discussed and agreed.
