Three ways to scope your marine detail

Each category is tailored to your vessel. The scope and total are confirmed after assessment — there is no universal per-foot price that describes every job.

Detail & Protect and Restoration Assessment are listed subject to confirmed provider capability. We tell you what’s available before quoting.

Vessel surface guide

Each area is included only when named in your quote. We don’t assume every surface is covered — the scope is agreed with you first.

Hull above waterline

Cleaned when named in the quote.

Deck / non-skid

Included only when specified.

Cockpit / seating

Scoped to the requested areas.

Glass / clears

Accessible glass cleaned if included.

Stainless / brightwork

Polished where agreed.

Cabin

Interior areas assessed separately.

Washing, polishing and protection are different jobs

A maintenance wash removes salt and grime. Polishing addresses dullness and oxidation with machine work and assessed products. A protective finish adds a layer that helps routine cleaning. These are not interchangeable, and a per-foot wash figure does not describe a full restoration.

We confirm whether polishing and protection are available for your vessel before quoting them. No universal oxidation-removal percentage or coating-life promise is made.

Access is part of the quote

Tell us your marina’s access requirements so we can confirm a suitable visit. We check permission, berth access, available facilities and site rules before booking.

Trailer

Tell us where the boat is stored and whether there’s safe access around the hull.

Marina

Share berth access, permission to work and any site rules. We check these before booking.

Storage site

Confirm site permission, working room and available facilities.

What shapes the price

Your quote is based on vessel size, surfaces, condition and access. There is no universal per-foot figure that describes every job.

Outside this service

  • Underwater hull cleaning
  • Antifouling
  • Mechanical work
  • Structural repairs
  • Work at unsafe heights

Quote only. Polishing, ceramic coating and mould remediation are not included unless assessed and listed in your quote.
